The XSL4ITK project provides mapping of NHS ITK messages to more familiar formats suitable for consuming applications such as Microsoft SSIS, biztalk, OSB, etc.. The project consists of an XSLT framework that can map ITK/HL7 messages into simpler formats such as CSV or a simplified XML. It is anticipated that additional destination formats such as RDBMS staging tables will be supported in the future.

XSL4ITK v0.3-SNAPSHOT Michael Odling-Smee 2012-01-10 Version 0.3 (SNAPSHOT) is now available (http://forge.tactix4.net/gf/project/xsl4itk/frs/) including support for ITK UCCD A&E batch feeds as well as simplified XML and RDBMS staging table destination formats.
xsl4itk v0.2 release Michael Odling-Smee 2011-11-20 Release XSL4ITK v0.2 is now available. This release supports ITK/HL7 to CSV mapping for OOHWIC messages. Additional functionality for pseudoynimisation of OOHWIC messages has also been provided.

Description
The XSL4ITK project provides mapping of NHS ITK messages to more familiar formats suitable for consuming applications such as Microsoft SSIS, biztalk, OSB, etc.. The project consists of an XSLT framework that can map ITK/HL7 messages into simpler formats such as CSV or a simplified XML and even relational tables (Java only). In the first instance the framework is being targeted at the consumption of messages defined in the Urgent Care Clinical Dashboard ITK specification.
