Welcome to the eHealthOpenSource codeforge.Way back in October 2009, the Data Standards and Products of Technology Office, the UK Department of Health Informatics Directorate, developed a 2 year KTP Project with the University of York aimed at setting up a viable and operational open-source software ecosystem for the UK healthcare industry. The project reached a successful completion and the management of the site has passed to the University of Leeds. After the pump priming work of the KTP project, eHealthOpenSource.org is now evolving into an independent and self-sustaining organisation, connected with global resource centres and wider open source communities in the Healthcare domain. eHealthOpenSource.org is a sister community of Open Health Tools. This development forge is a key element of the open source ecosystem for UK healthcare. We hope you will find this service and the code hosted on it useful.
